Many cases of divorce among the youth result from of hurried marriage decisions. There is no pride in divorce and the high divorce rate is an embarrassment to our country. Reliable sources suggest that a number of divorce cases result from lack of knowledge on marriage with regard to tolerance and respect.
Men lack tolerance in marriage. It is time to help the youth adopt a new attitude towards marriage and decide on the best way to share basic information on marriage. This is because broken marriages contribute to the growing number of homeless children and preventing divorces would help curb the state of affairs.
Statistics obtained from the Court, reveal that conflicts which end in divorce were numerous and the majority of couples that end up parting ways are young people. In order to stop the issue of Divorce, there is a need for communities to promote love, care, mutual understanding among couples for harmonious family lifestyles.
