AMERICANIZATION OF THE WORLD; A NEW STRATEGY FOR NEO-COLONIALISM

Neocolonialism, is a geopolitical practice of using capitalism, business globalization, and cultural imperialism to influence a country, in terms of either direct military control or indirect political control thus imperialism and hegemony (domination).

Among other things culture is an important aspect of any society, any culture in the world has its own values which are the stable patterns of beliefs which determine what is right or wrong, what is accepted or not accepted. The cultural values also dictate the ways in which a society operate in social, political, economic and other modes of high importance in the society or any county.

There is this notion which is termed by many as globalization; the connectedness act of world's institutions which in my view is an Americanization of the world and a new strategy for colonization of Africa. Every thing today is done in American standard, being it an advert, being it a business venture,  being it culture, ways of life, musics, arts even the national laws are of American standard and many other aspects. 

I think many of you will agree with me that among the bad acts among human creature is the colonization of the Mind, if one's mind has been colonized he or she will not think on his or her own, the level of dependency increases. Due to this our minds, souls, thinking are of an American standard this is the colonization of the mind, this has turned our mind to depend on aids to develop ourselves, our culture has been deprived and being replaced with this new culture. My call to all Tanzanian and African leaders is turning to the basics rectifying our ancestral ways of life and have African standards of doing things.
