Are we making sense of what we are speaking? What is the position of three Rhetoric skills; ethos, pathos, and logos in Effective Public Speaking in Tanzania?

The art of public speaking is one of the very important aspects in professionalism and a powerful tool of persuasion, it is through public speaking directives are issued, policies are implemented; never the less through public speaking the citizens are promoted to participate in issues of public concerns. But my fear is that this important aspect has been taken for granted, this has been revealed through parliamentary sessions, public gatherings, political campaigns, seminars and workshops and many other gathering of public interests.
But the issue is for how long shall this problem come to an end and with what means and ways? I don’t see the position of the “Big Result Now” programs and campaigns toward ensuring leaders sense of urgency in promoting public participation in matters of national interests. This is because they make no sense of what they speak or addresses.
I see the need of revising the three rhetorical skills of public speaking and persuasion. The skilful use of ethos which reminds us on being credible presenting information from accredited sources, also through the use of logos which in tells speaking with logical argument, not mixing up things arrangements in ideas, and consistency flow of information.
Last but not least, it is through the use of Pathos this is speaking while appealing to emotions, touch the audience feelings, meeting their needs and wants. This good news has to be preached to leaders stating from members of the parliament, civil servants, politicians, activists and many others who have direct contact with the public.
