TANZANIA TODAY WITH THE DREAM OF TOTAL DEMOCRACY

Tanzania is ones of the African countries which fight for the democracy. Tanzania constitution also insists much on promoting democracy. But the question is that, is real Tanzania government promote democracy to its people?

Honestly Tanzania does not promote democracy to its people thus why some persons are threatened, beaten, and saw their property looted by Tanzanian officials, soldiers, and police officers or by militia groups acting with the apparent compliance of government officials.

Massive killing and mutilation of people that suffer from albinism continues. Prison conditions are remained harsh and life-threatening. Inadequate food, overcrowding, poor sanitation, and inadequate medical care were pervasive. Detainees charged with criminal matters generally waited three to four years for trial due to a lack of judges to hear cases, an inadequate judicial budget, and the lengthy time required to complete police investigations. Arbitrary arrests, excessive use of force by police and the military, and corruption in law enforcement are also implemented by government officials in Tanzania.

Tanzania leaders need to change if we want to promote and support total democracy in our country. The only way for them to change is to be responsible and transparent to the people. Truth is the only way to promote democracy in Tanzania. Let us to change now, change begins with you.
