IS TRANSFORMATIVE EDUCATION IN TANZANIA A REALITY?

The Tanzanian society is experiencing a large number of students who graduate in Univeristies. More so this group tend to increase unemployment rate, and the level of dependency is increasing day after day. This is the manifestation of inapropriate education that students attain in our universities because, if we were to ask why this group of educated young Tanzanians live a miserable life and yet they have education and what is the contribution of education that they have acquired in colleges. In an intellectual point of view and in a critical eye I see there is a problem in a kind of education that is being offered, it is not a transformative kind of eduacation that can liberated students from their current possition, I see the need of transforming students to a more self relient kind of education so that they can extract their skills, ability and knowledge to venture and capture opportunities and resources available in a productive and fruitful way.
