President Kikwete removes secondary fees for government schools

The Tanzanian president, honourable Jakaya Kikwete has decided to remove all fees for secondary education level in Tanzania. In implementing by action his policy of “better life for everyone”, secondary education will be provided for free to all students in order to get opportunity to join with and enjoy secondary education studies.

Many children in societies failed to continue with their secondary education opportunities because their parents were failing to pay secondary fees for their children. Kikwete decision can function together with the policy of “big results now” by increasing the number of students in secondary schools.
