NATIONAL ELECTION 2015; IS GREEN GUARD AND RED GUARD A BLESSING

As we are approaching to the national election 2015 the country is experiencing various movement among politicians and political parties, various teams have been formed in favor of the expected political candidates, more so the two main political parties CHADEMA and CCM are in a process of strengthening their political power in terms of security, level of acceptance, and other initiatives that are put in place to ensure they become the champions in the coming election.

But the question is what is behind forming security groups in these parties thus the GREEN GUARD AND RED GUARD by CCM and CHADEMA respectively are these security groups conforms with the expectations of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania of 1977. Therefore as intellectuals we need to have a critical mind on this issue as far as misinterpretation of the concept behind the formation of these guards may lead violation in the coming national election; think of what is happened in the post Kenya Election, think of what is happening in Chad, in Libya, and other places in Africa
