The High court of Tanzania at Geita has sentenced four accused person who were found guilty of the Killing of Zawadi Maghimbu (32) who resides at Nyamaruru village in the Municipal of Geita. The convicted persons are one Nassor Charles, Singu Siantemi, Massaru Kahindi and Ndahanya Lumola.
The deceased had albinism and on March 03, 2015 at 07:00 hours was when she was killed. In the day of incidence the deceased person was having dinner when the accused person who were armed entered the house attacked the deceased person and chopped her two legs and the right arm. When giving the judgement, Honourable Judge Joacquine De-Mello said among other things that the court has satisfied with the prosecution and that it has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused person did kill Zawadi and therefore the court entered conviction and sentenced the four accused person to hanging until death.
